70
Minutes With Guitar Romances
Meditative,
classical, and romantic moods for fingerstyle nylon guitars. While you
hear the sound of nature, a reminder of the blue skies and golden
sunshine of summer.
In this Recording, Behzad Mirkhani (1969 Tehran) has offered his
original compositions for nylon guitars, strings, and Piano, as
meditative music. Meanwhile, you hear the sound of Spring's immigrant
birds and other sounds of nature which bring a splash of relaxing
colour to the music. This programme also includes some sweet, delicate
and dreamy transcriptions from J.S.Bach, Beethoven, Tchaikovsky, Verdi,
Grieg, Brahms, Oscar Rieding, and Akbar Mohseni. This latter composer,
Akbar Mohseni (1912 Tehran), co nsidered the
dean of Iranian composers, had been active for more than sixty years.
He was a great performer of tar and ood (Persian lute).

Chi Mai
Influenced
by 70s instrumental music, Behzad Mirkhani wrote the romantic score of
the present album for a smooth jazz orchestra. "Chi Mai" theme of Ennio
Morricone is a great material used in this album in a different style.
